Phyllanthus Fluitans (Red Root Floater)
Easy to grow floating plant. Under right conditions the leaves turn slightly reddish and flowers. Originated from the American tropics, Phyllanthus fluitans is a floating plant part of the Phyllanthaceae family.It is similar to the Salvinia, differentiated only by the mono leave structure on each node.
- Normally leaves are light green and that can turn blood red when kept under high light
- Requires very bright light and good fertilizer for red colour
- Red root floaters do not do well in an environment with a lot of movement or water surface agitation
